The High Court at Darmstadt. ha 6 given air important: decision that a mortgagee is not obliged "to adcept paper imarks in repayment of a mortgage loan made by sold marks. The decision strikes at the basis of the whole" of the German currency system, as the State and all other debts have hitherto been payable in paper marks.
