De Valera's one-sided truce was broken at the week-end by a number of outrages perpetrated by rebels. A mansion at. Hollybrook, SHgo, belonging to the Earl of Ypres, and occupied by Free State troops, was subjected to intense rifle fire, which shattered the windows and damaged valuable furniture. The attacker.o, however, were repulsed. The, house of; Mrs. Duffy, near Swiri-' ford, Mayo, was raided by masked men, who demanded money. On. being refused they attempted, a search, and a xaid--ler fired point-blank at Mrs. Duify, -who ■ tell dead.. .■-.'■: . (Received 7th May, 11 a. m ) . LONDON, 6th May. The "Daily Express" Dublin corres-' pondent says: "Ireland.does not know herself at the moment. Not a shot has been heard since Monday.
