Among their demands, . the women claim more freedom than they at- present have in the' choice of husbands, also modification of the marriage laws, aiming at the abolition of' polygamy and divorce without due cause. The women further claim, education facilities and the-' improvement of sanitary conditions in Egypt. The deputation had gone before public opinion had time to express' itself on these views, whiqh would, revolutionise women's status in Egypt. ...
