LONDON, 6th May.
Mr. J. H. Thomas, Labour M.P., epea-king at Derby, warned the Government that if it cancelled the Bussian trade agreement it would be responsible for increased unemployment. He did not desire to say air^hing about the taste of the last German Note, but he maintained Britain could not continue neutral in the Buhr and see trade and industry paralysed.' As the Ruhr occupation contravened' the Treaty of Versailles Britain etibuld not have ignored it.
