FIRE AT NGAIO
A fire occurred at Ngaio early yesterday morning, when the house owned and occupied by Mr. J. M'Cale was totally destroyed. The City Fire Brigade was summoned at 12.5 a.m., but as no water was available for the hoses, little could bo.done, except by the use of chemicals. Nothing was saved, and Mr. M'Cale is a heavy loser.
