PETONE AND HUTT.
Playing at Hutt, Petone defeated Hutt by 5 points to 3. There was no score in the first spell, and after half-time, Zimmerman potted a goal for Petone. Shortly after, Grear followed* up, and scored in the corner. His kick failed. Petone 5, Hutt 0. Hutt now got to work, and had Petone defending moat of the spell. From a passing rush from half-way, C. Cudby scored. B. Cudby failed with the kick. Petone 5, Hutt 3. From the drop-out, Hutt again had Petone defending, and from a scramble, 0. Cuiby dived over,, but the referee did not allow it. Shortly after the whistls blew for time. Mr. C. Wrack was referee.
