CAMPBELL STATUETTE
No. 31 COMPANY TO REPRESENT CENTRAL COMMAND.
Out of the whole of the Senior Cade'ls Companies (other than secondary school units) in the Central Command, No. 31 Company (Wellington City) has baen selected to represent it in the first annual content between the Northern, Central, and Southern Commands for the handsome silver statuette presented by Colonel G. F. C. Campbell, late Coast Comr lander for Wellington District. No. 31 Company is commanded by Captain E. Kankin, and its selection is regarded as a high honour, the company having defeated all other units in both the area and regimental district competitions. The statuette is awarded for the _ best company throughout the Dominion, points being given by a special Board of Inspection from general headquarters for attendance, musketry, infantry drill, physical drill, etc..
