CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The special train conveying Mr. M'filly. General Manager of Eailways, on in inspection of lines was running over ihe Antigua street crossing this morning, "when an old man, whose identity has not been established, walked right into the train. He was struck by the cylinder of the locomotive and thrown backwards on tramway rails. The old man who sustained a compound fracture of the :aim and injuries to his head, had not regained consciousness this afternoon. He was evidently deaf and feeble.
