HIGHLANDERS LEAVE THE HEBRIDES.

Five hundred men, women, and children from ' the. Boisdale district in the- outer Hebrides, mostly landholders in the islands, sailed yesterday, and five hundred more from Lewis will sail in a few days. The emigrants are mostly Catholics, and the migration movement wag initiated by a priest. The reason given for relinquishing good holdings, which are eagerly sought by others, is that there are better opportunities for children in "Janada. .
