A POLITICAL PLOT?
THE RESIGNATION RUMOURS.
LONDON, 16th April.
The "Daily Express" attributes the rumour in connection with Mr. Bonar Law's resignation to a political plot. It is noteworthy that the "Observer's" editor, Mr. Garvin, is a great friend of Lord Birkenhead, while Lord Riddell, the owner of the "News of the World," 'is a friend of Mr. Lloyd George. Lord Riddell tips Lord Curzon, another sick man, to succeed Mr. Bonar Law, while Mr. Baldwin will be ■•ewarded with the leadership of the House of Commons. The "Daily Express" adds: "Mr. Chamberlain and his friends must understand that the Conlervative Party will not' readmit them to office unless /they return as loyal Conservatives, not half-hearted Coalitionsts. , .
