LETTER ADMITS DEFEAT.

LONDON, 15th April. Followingwolosely on the police revelations, after the London midnight raid of the Irish rebels,, of plans of war on London on a grand scale, comes news of the capture of Austin Stack, the fiercest rebel, on whom were found documents saying that further military efforts in Ireland were futile.

Stack was found unarmed, alone, hiding in a ditch, near where Lynch was captured. He was caught while troope and aeroplanes were hunting for de valera, and was taken to Clonmel without resisting. Volunteers are requested to hand in their arms pending the election of the Government, which will bo the free choice of the people."
