The newspapers are now in general agreement that Mr. Baldwin's Budget tomorrow will reduoe the income tax by 6d in the £, the corporation profit tax by half, and the beer duty by enough, with the brewers' contribution, to reduce the retail price by Id a pint. He will propose a Select Committee to inquire into the betting tax.
