' posed purchase of the Kelburn tramway, appears to have been quite neglected. The one special feature of this proposal, which needs very careful consideration^ is: Will the Kelburn tramway route bo : the one best suited, to. the future needs of the city ? Expert advice upon this subject should have been supplied before now. I understand the City Epgi- > neer was instructed to consider the merits_ of this and other suggested -routes. •'. His opinion would be of great value if available now. I have, no doubt ratepayers would also be glad to hear what Mr. R. A.
