KILBIRNIE CRICKET CLUB
Members of the Kilbirnie Cricket Club brought their season to a close on Saturday night with a sm.oke concert at Dustin's Rooms. Mr. W. J. Gaudin presided, and there was a large attendance of members and friends. During the evening the following list of toasts was honoured:—"The King," proposed by Mr. Gaudin; -" Wellington Cricket Association," proposed by Mr. F. E. Lauvel, reply Messrs. C. G. Wilson and F. Hewitt; " Kilbirnie Cricket Club," proposed by Mr. P. B. Broad, reply Messrs. R. A. Berry and H. Winterbottom • " Patron, President, and Vicepresident," proposed by Mr. W. Chris-' tophersoji, repty Messrs. Gaudin and Milner; "Umpires' 'Association," piAposed by Mr. W. Christopherson, reply Mr. A. F. Wiren; "Kindred Sports," proposed by Mr. Gaudin, reply Mr. H. M'Girr. Musical items were given by Messrs. Culvenvell, F. Hewitt, Ash. Edwards, and Waterhouse, and a much appreciated number was a cornet solo by Mr. H. Jupp. The accompaniments were played by Mr. L. Walker.
