ANGLICANS AND DIVORCE
NEITHER GUILTY NOR INNOCENT CAN REMABRY. •
WITBD PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPIRIBHT.) (Received 14th April, noon.)
SYDNEY, This Day. Dr. Badford, Bishqp of Goulburn, in his presidential address to the Goulburn Anglican Synod, said that Anglican bishops have revised the marriage and divorce regulations of 1902 to the effect that permission would not be given to either party—guilty or innocent—to remarry after divorce so long as one was living. The Bishop explained that hitherto reference to the guilty party had implied that the one who was innocent could obtain permission.
