Mr. Stanley Baldwin, Chancellor of the Exchequer, in the' House of Commons, replying to a question, said that the Government had no intention, as a result of the conversations with M. Loucheur, of abandoning its policy of friendly neutrality towards France and of supporting her action in the Euhr.
