INQUEST ON LYNCH

EXECUTIONS AT TUAM. (Received 13th April, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 12th April. In the inquest at Clonmel on Liam Lynch, the verdict was that Lynch died of bullet wounds inflicted by the National troops in the execution of their duty. The deceased was unarmed when he was captured. Six rebels were executed at Tuam Barracks at 8 o'clock in the .morning. They were taken out in two parties of three. Their bodies were burned in the barrack grounds. They had been imprisoned for several months in Galvvay Gaol. They were captured with arms in their possession.
