CHAMPION GOLFERS
PURSE FOR TWO-DAY MATCHES. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received 13th April, 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, 12th April. Sir Stanley Cochrane, formerly of Ireland, now of the United States, has announced the offer of a special purse for two day^' matches between Hagen, Sarazen, and Hutchinson and Barries, the present and former British and American champions respectively, for the 28th and 29th' April. The first day will be a 36----hole best ball in a four ball match, the second day a medal competition of 36 , holes.
