PERSONAL MATTERS
Sir Francis Bell, Attorney-General, and Sir William Fraser returned from the South this morning. Mr. R. W. M'Villy, General Manager of Railways, is visiting Blenheim. In connection with the forthcoming election, Mr. Will Appleton has been nominated for a seat on the Wellington Hospital Board by Messrs. Hop« B. Gibbons and Alexander A. Gellatly. Mr. Charles W. Phipson (Assoc. Memb. Inst. Brewing, Lond.), son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy B. Phipson, Turnbull street, and under-brewer to Messrs. J. Staples and Co., Ltd., has been elected a member of tKe Biochemical Society, London.
