DESTRUCTIVE FIRE
AT MELBOURNE SCOURING
WORKS.

MELBOURNE, 4th April. A fire at the works of the Mimosa Wool Scouring Proprietary in South Kensington, destroyed more than an acre of sheds, and a three-story wool store. The damage amounts to many thousands of pounds. For some time the city abattoirs were endangered.
