NEW FRENCH ARMY LAW
ALL ABLE-BODIED MEN TO
SERVE,
PARIS, 4th April. A new French army law requires that all able-bodied men nrast serve 18 months in the army, and also hold themselves liable for front-line service for a \urther two years. They must serve In the first reserve 16 years, and in the second for eight years. The age of entry is 19 years.
