QUICK RETALIATION
NINE TRAINS WRECKED,
LONDON, 4th April. , The "Daily Chronicle's" correspondent in Paris states that the Germans wero not slow in retaliating in regard to the Essen shooting. Nine trains were released and sent unmanned at full speed in the direction of Wesel. The inevitable o^licion resulted, and seventy wagons we* smashed to matchwood. It is believed the intention was to block an important junction at Wesel.
