NEXT SATURDAY'S MATCHES
The first of the gymnasium benefit matches to be played,under the Rugby Unions scheme-will take place at Athletic Park on Saturday afternoon next. About five thousand tickets have been distributed amongst; the clubs, and they ■have been selling rapidly. The matches arranged for next Saturday are between the leading teams at the close of last year's competition. At Athletic Park* Poneke will meet Athletic on No 1* ground, while Marist will meet Berh'ampore on No. 2 ground. At Petone the local team will play Oriental. Curtainraisers are also to be played between junior teams. The tickets will be on sale both at Petone and at Athletic Park. ".."■•.■
