FIRE
A fire ' occurred at the. premises of Messrs. Cook and Cook, coopers, Hutt road, Petone, about 7.15 p.m; on Monday. An early discovery of the outbreak prevented the flames spreading among heavy stocks of dry timber. As it was, the fire, which was in the stokehold, was suppressed with comparative ease by the local fire brigade^
