Dull, threatening weather -prevailed for the opening of the Horowhemia Show, but the attendance is good for the first day. Judging is proceeding. - The butter fat competition was won .by James Home's Jersey-bred cow Botter Cup. The weight of milk for four milkings was 60.1, the test 6.6, fat produced) in two days 3.971b,, the number of days in milk prior to contest 215, points for fat and milk 33.73, total points 64.14. There were four other' competitors.
