MEN INJURED BY EXPLOSION.

WAIHI, 29th January.
Two men, H. Pipe and F..Quintal, received serious injuries as the result of a plug of gelignite exploding in Quintal's hand while they were fishmg in Shark Bay, off Waihi beach. Quintal's hand was" blown off, and he also received terrible facial and bodily injuries. The concussion of the explosion knocked Pipe out of the boat, but he wuß able to clamber back uad pull Uia boat to shore..
