WELLINGTON COLLEGES
MEETING OF THE BOABD.
A meeting of the Board of Governors of the Wellington College and Girls' High School .was held to-day. Present: Messrs. W. F. Ward (chairman), W. H. P. Barber, and W. H. Denton.
It was agreed, on the motion of Mr. Denton, that a return be .furnished of the amounts expended on account of the two colleges from the general account, and which should have been taken from the incidental accounts. Mr. Barber asked how it was there were so many changes and resignations amongst teachers at the Girls' High School. . ) ' ' The Chairman replied that it often happened that there were no vacancies of highei' grade positions in the school, and therefore if'teachers wanted better positions they had to apply for vacancies in other colleges. • "■.; ' ■■■'-.'
