FRENCH MISSION
INTERVIEWS WITH BUSINESS MEN.
Apart from a visit to the Rotary Club for luncheon, the members of the French Mission have a fairly free day from official engagements to-day, and opportunity was taken to interview representatives from the Christchurch. and Dunedin Chambers of Commerce and Manufacturers' Associations. Government officials are also interviewing members of .the mission to-day.
. Thif afternoon a number of the sailors were taken across to Days Bay, and this evening the crew will be the guests of the Returned Soldiers' Association at a smoke concert .in the association's
rooms. Admiral Gilly will give a soiree on. board the Jules Michelet this evening. The Prime Minister was the Admiral's suest at luncheon on board the cruiser yesterday. '
