PUBLIC VISITS
The cruiser Jules Michelet was opened to the public; on Saturday, afternoon a,nd Sunday A afternoon. Very large: crowds visited the vessel, particularly' yesterday, attention being mostly confined to the beautiful photographs. ' :
TO-DAY'S PROCEEDINGS.
Twelve officers and members of the mission , left by the Napier mail train this morning to visit the Weraroa State farm near Levin. Other officers were the guests of the Harbour Board and inspected the harbour works and went round the bays' in ihe Jaunch- TJta.Members of the ship's crew were taken by trim round'the city. A visit was made to the municipal milk depot..
This afternoon half the crew is visiting Day's Bay, while several other fixtures are being" dealt with., -,. 1
