DARING BURGLAR
INCIDENT IN AUCKLAND.

AUCKLAND, This Day. A daring-attempt at burglary at the residence of Mr. J. H. Bradney, Sherwood road, M*unt Eden, at midnight, was frustrated through Miss Bradney being awakened by a noise and calling, her father. There was a strange man in the bedroom', but he escaped. He had put over Miss Bradney's face a piece of lint soaked with chemicals, which rendered her temporarily helpless.
