STt <? p.m. the Speaker of the Legislative Council and members of the Council are to pay a visit to'the warship. It has been found necessary to alter the.time of certain lectures to be deliver-, ed by the visiting delegates. T^ie lecture of the "Interchange of Trade between France and New Zealand," by M. Petrequin, the delegate of the French Department of Industries, will bo delivered in the Chaniber of Commerce at 3 p.m. on Monday, instead of at 2.30 p.m. in tTffe King's Theatre, as previously announced.

An illustrated lecture on "Wireless," which-, should prove of great interest to both experts and amateurs, will be given in the King's Theatre by Lieut.-Com-mander Tranier on Monday, at 2.30 p.m. Admission to both lectures is free.

The attention of all ex-service men is drawn to the smoke concert which' is being held in the club rooms, Brandon street, on Tuesday, in honour of the French sailors of the Jules Michelet. All ex-service men are asked to make a special effort, to attend.
