FINANCE SCHEME
The proposal in connection with the financing of the Southern tour of the Wellington representatives was placed before a meeting of club secretaries last evening. The attendance was only fair. Mr. C. G. Wilson, chairman' of the Weyingtor Cricket Association's Management Committee, stated that in order to prepare for the inevitable loss over the tour, and to maintain the finances of the association at their present level, a scheme had- been evolved by which the clubs. could assist the association and lit the same time benefit their own financial position. The scheme was to play one match at the Basin Reserve on the 13th and, 20th January, and to charge one shilling admission each day. The clubs were to be asked to assist in the sale of tickets, and each club would be allowed to retain a third of the value of the tickets sold.
