The* total number of bales of. hemp graclett during September' was 4709, as compared with 3346 for the corresponding month of last year, an increase of 1363 bales': For the twelve months ending 30fch September j 1922, the number of bales graded was 63,936, as compared with 62,352 for the previous twelve monthsj an increase of 1584 .bales. For the twelve months ending 30th September, 1922j the number of bales of tow graded \vas 15,089, as compared With 13,153 for the previous twelve monthsj an itiorease of 1936 bales.
