At the Miramar links on Saturday the 36 holes final for the captain's trophy tournament Was contested .by A. ,<B. Conway and L. D. Hurst. The condition oi the weather and the links were all that could be d««lred. A. % Con Way, the winner, played brilliantly in the first round, and obtained a commanding, lead of 7 up. In the second round, as the result of a fine uphill fight, Hurst managed to even the score. He played a; great game in the second round, as he: ran but in 39 and came home in .38, giving' him 77 for the round.
