-A CHALLENGE MAY BE WITH--1 DRAWN. (BI MLEORAPH.—PRESS ABSOLUTION.) DUNEDIN, This Day. Another change has developed in connection, with the challenge to Auckland' for the Cup. The Port Chalmers Yacht Club issued its challenge to Auckland chiefly with the idea of instituting a memorial to its late commodore. Mrs. Stevenson, his.widow, has written to the Port Chalmers Club, intimating that as personal feeling has been raised, it is her wish that the challenge be withdrawn.
