VESSELS NOT INSURED.

SYDNEY, 28th July. Under cross-examination at the inquiry'into the New South Wales State trawling industry, the manager, Mr. SummergTeene, said the trawlers were not insured from October, 1920, until a few weeks ago, and that there were no profits from which funds for internal insurance could be set aside. • He added that he had let the insurance lapse, as he tyiought the many bays on the coast enabled the trawlers to run for shelter without risk.
