In "Bond 6of Love," a Goldwyn production to be screened at Shortt's Theatre for tho last time this evening, Pauline Frederick is the heroine. There is; an excellent supporting programme.

Commencing to-morrow at Shortt's Theatre will be a double-feature programme. The first feature will be "Laddio," a. companion film to "Darby and Joan." Miss Sydney Fairbrotber, one of the greatest English character actresses, is to be seen, in "Laddie," in which she impersonates a little old lady who comes up to London from her village home in order to surprise her son, a fashionable doctor. Some charming incidents in a children's hospital are depicted in "Laddie," the hero of which is a famous doctor, and there is amusement as well as pathos in the scenes. That Ethel Clayton has a particularly impressive way of portraying feal life probkms in a natural, human manner will be made clear by her appearance in the Paramount picture, "Her Own Money," which is also in the new programme. Her interpretation of a sweet, self-sacrificing wife is said to be a fine piece of work. Warner Baxter will be seen as the husband. Supporting items to be provided include the latest English comedy and a gazette.
