THE MILK DELIVERY

In connection with the change-over in the' system of delivering milk last Sunday, it was stated that trouble. which occurred in the north end of the city was due to a number of men going out with their carts loaded with bottles, and returning with the milk three hours later and resigning. Arthur Scholefield writes to The Post stating that he went but for three hours, returned, and "turned the contract in." The correspondent says that he,had spent four days organising the round he was made to believe he would be engaged on, but as soon as he and his mate got going it became evident that organisation in advance would have to be abandoned, and that a'system of " go-as-yoh-please" would be the order of the going. In the correspondent's opinion, nothing but disorder and discredit had a chance.
