NATIVES' HOSPITAL FEES
The Minister of Health (the Hon.. C. J. Parr) met in conference those interested in the payment of hospital fees by Native patients. Much difficulty lias been experienced in some localities in collecting fees from Natives, with the result that the burden of the ratepayers has been increased. At this morning's conference were tlie Maori members of the House of Representatives; Dr. Valintine and Dr. ■ Frengley, of the Health Department; Dr. Buck, Director of the Division of Maori Hygiene ;. and Messrs. Vernon Reed, M.P., and K. S. Williams, M.P.
