WELLINGTON POULTRY SOCIETY

The committee of the Wellington Poultry Society met last evening to wind up affairs in connection, with the past show. Mr. G; E. Fearn presided. Accounts amounting to £140 were passed for payment, and the financial position appears to bo most gratifying to those concerned. The thanks of the society was cxpresssd to Mesdames Craig, Busby, Latimer, Mason, Peterson, and Messrs! Bolton, Toomer, Perrett, Lingard, L. B. and T. Doig, Relph, Marriott, W. Davey, A. Peterson, Copp, Simmonds, Bushby, Matson, T. Graham, and A. Thomas. Special reference was made to tho services of Messrs. Ahlqrs, Atkin. Abol, and Langridge for judging. It' was decided, if time permits, to entertain Mr. House, tho English judge, and a strong committee, representative o[ all sections, was set, up in order to make the arrangements. Mr. P. E. Tremaino was 'congratulated on securing 3 specials and best cat in show. Prize money will bo distributed on Satur•dty, £2nd July.
