BEEF PRODUCTION.
When claiming that good results b_d'.. attended the work of the Meat Producers' Board, Mr. J, R. Hamilton (Awarua) heard an interjector saying: "What about beef?" 1 Mr. Hamilton replied that no attempt had been made to do anything with.' beef. New Zealand had practically no influence in the beef market; but it had great weight in the lamb and mutton markets. He believed that shortly Nevr Zealand would get back to the position, of producing only sufficient beef for her own requirements, and the ;. sooner that position was reached thqj' better it would be. '
