BONUS REDUCTION
NOT A FULL CUT.
..', The Prime Minister will .probably be in a position to announce in the House of Representatives,. this afternoon the decision of the Government with respect to the second cut in Public Service bonus and salaries. The. Judge's report has been received, and will probably be made-known to the House when, the announcement is made. At present the only statement that, can be made with certainty is that the cut will not be made to the full extent authorised by the Public Expenditure Adjustment Act.
Mr., Massey stated previously that members would be given the opportunity of .expressing an opinion. That opportunity will be in the Address-in-Reply debate.
