One of the points ,of Mr. David ' Jones's speech moving the Address-in-Reply lost night, which met with as->. sent from all sides of the House, was,, one urging the Government to consider*: the cases of men who had taken their,-: discharge from the N.Z.E.F. without a, pension, and were now feeling the ravA ages of war. There were many men, he* said, who, anxious to be rid-of the^ khaki, had taken their discharges, and, were now finding that they were not.as'l fit as they had thought they were. Hei< felt the Government shoola recognise^ the claims of these men, and treats/them j generonsly. . ''
