CExAIMS FOR COMPENSATION.

DELHI, 3rd June. In comiectioß j with the disorders in Bombay on the occasion of the Prince of Wales's visit, claims for compensation were made for losses, mainly suffered by Parsees; totalling 2,800,000 rupees. The amount , was eventually reduced to 650,000 rupees, of which a, considerable portion has been paid. ( Mrs. Doherty, widow of an American engineer, *as killed during the riots.
