EMPRESS THEATRE.
This week's programme at, the. Empress Theatre is an excellent- one. Seena Owen and Matt Moore appear in "Back Pay." Constance -Binney is the star of "Something Different," and there is an excellent.Sennett comedy, "Gingham Girls," besides the Gaumont Graphic, and a travelogue, "The Chateau Thierry War Zone." . The title of the . first-mentioned picture is based on a remark made by a girl who sees the diversions of the city: "If the wages of sin is death, I have a lot of back pay coming to me." Her* regeneration is depicted with scenes which make a powerful appeal. "Something Different' depicts the adventures of a young lady who gets mixed up in a revolution in South America. Splendid music is played by the Empress Orchestra.
