PARAMOUNT AND ARTCRAFT.
"The Prophet's Paradise," a film of novel plot, which heads, the present,programme at the Paramount and Artcraft Theatres, tells of a bored American society man on travel in Europe, who opens the trouble by buying a Turkish girl, whom he had seen before the sale, and whose charms had captivated him. The American finds himself involved in a net of ennning intrigue, and seeks advice from the very man who is drawing the net tighter. The second attraction .is "The Road to Arcady," a story of high finance starring Virginia Lee. Other films shown are a topical gazette, an amusing comedy, and pictures of educational interest. Good music is provided by the orchestra at each theatre.
