RED CROSS SCHOLARSHIP

A great opportunity is'ofiered by the Public Division League of ihe Red Cross Societies. A letter has -been received by the Wellington Red Cross Executive stating that the International Public Health courses, which have proved so successful during the past two years, will he continued this yeai, the new course commencing on Ist October. Thirty-one students from different countries attended .the last two courses, and returned to their homes 'to teach and. organise public health, nursing work, and already important work is being done. If lias been decided by the Red CroM authorities that a schelarship worth £250 and travelling. expenses shall be offered here. Tho course will include a ten months' training in London. Applicants must be betweer 23 and 40 years of. age! Applications must reach the secretary of the Red Cross Society, Box 969, Wellington, on or before Monday next. Copier of testimonials must accompany the application, and the selected person must leave; New Zealand by the end of the month.
