SUNDAY SCHOOL WORKERS
The Mayor (Mr. R. A. Wright. M.P.) will give a Mayoral reception to Mr. W. C. Pearce, M.A., of the World's Sunday Schoolr' Association, to-morrow ovoning in Wesley Church, Taranaki-street. He will also preside at Mr. Pearce's lecture, on "Religious Education 'and Civilisation." Mr. Pearce returns from a flying visit to Christchurch and Dunedin to-morrow. Mr Grocott, president "of the locul Sunday School Union, went to Chriatchurch on; Saturday to attend a confernnco of Sunday School workers from different barts of the Dominion, which was to bo held this morning. Mr. Alexander Johnston is also. attending from Wellington. Auckland has sent two delegates, two of them going to Dunedin with Mr. Pearce.
