The Ere Brigade received a call last evening to 5, Onslow-terrace, a i house owned by -Mrs. Agnes Sampson aid occupied by Mr. John M. Sampson. A candle had come, in contact with some curtains in a bedroom, but tho blaze was extinguished by the brigade •with a chemical extinguisher, after slight damage had been done. The house is insured' in the." Liverpool, .London, and Globe office far £700, and the contents in the Commercial Union for £175.
