Robsori, two firsts; - J. W. Jones and W. Gee, one first each; : .ail of Wellington. In the attiateur class the prize-winners were: H. C. Milne, R. N. Keys, L. W. Green, A. J. Bland, Mrs. M. ,~The apple championship was won by Jt Gushing, Clive, 94i points; F. 2eters,-Waipawa, obtained second and third and seven other first prizes. The open classes were won by F. Peters, while D. P. Loasby (Greytdwn), Gordon Evans (Hastings), T. F. Conway (Paluierston North) were the principal other pcize-winners. F. Peters practically swept the pool in the dessert classes for apples; and pears. XThe conference of the National Dairy Association resumed. Discussion on the pool question will ; probably _;be_, taken to-morrow. .' 'This morning's"" business wras mainly confined to discussion of a ptoposal to remove the conference sitting to Hamilton and Wellington. It was also suggested that the matter be left to the executive, a step taken in resentment of the action of the Manawlitu A. and P. Association in ts cliarges for admission.
